but 2nd Generation apple TV only upgrade up to 6.2.1. It seems that something is fixed on apple TV software. mirroring works fine on this Apple TV 😮!!! Last day, I went to a friend house that own a 3rd generation Apple TV, It was off for a year, So, I upgrade Apple TV to latest version (7.0.1), and I checked airplay mirroring. airplay Mirroring doesn't work anyway with iOS 8.1.2 loaded! So, I got the chance to restore iPhone 4s multiple time. What is the solution to make mirroring work again? mirroring works fine on his phone! we have not checked what will happen to the phone after upgrade. I asked my friend who has not upgraded his iPhone 5s (working with 8.1.1) to test. I didn't find anyway to downgrade my iPhone and I don't think is the right way. since then there has been no update for Apple TV and it has been working using software version 6.2.1. and my wireless coverage is perfect & I counted restarting everything in different orders for 12 times and nothing changed. It wait for 2-3 seconds and return to place for pressing airplay button again and airplay is not activate at all!! when I do the same procedure with mirroring toggled to off, it works fine. I press airplay button on iPhone, then select the Apple TV as output device, then I toggle mirroring to on. After I upgraded my iPhone iOS from version 8.1.1 to 8.1.2 the mirroring doesn't work any more. I used to do airplay mirror to see what I'm doing on my phone on TV. I have an iPhone 6 and Apple TV 2nd generation (model MC572LL/A).
